Anyone waiting and waiting to get implant out. i am desperate to get it out and let my body settle before trying and because of COVID- 19 they are only emergency things. there is only one clinic in my area that i can have it done at. so much frustration.
 
Little update. I rang local sexual health clinic that deals with all contraception and family planning. They are the main place to get anything done. So my implant isn’t due out and not causing any pain or issues so due to COVID-19 I am not able to still have to put due to patient and staff risks at this clinic. I was rudely spoke to and told to basically get used to it as it will be like this for the foreseeable (one thing I dnt wanna here when ally wanna do is get that baby making on). I then rang my gp who told me they do have a nurse who is trained to remove them so best to speak to her, luckily I am having b12 injections at the moment so was able to speak to this said nurse while she did my injection. She was really sorry that due to her age and weight she was signed off to not do them due to her own risks, she said she had another 12 lb to lose (she didn’t have to tell me this but she was a lovely lady), she said how sorry she was and put my name in her diary of people who wanted it taking out so she could ASAP when she can. I feel more relaxed I am on this ladies list to do as soon as possible.
 
I'm glad that nurse was nice to you and was able to fit you in when she can. I can't believe that other place was so rude to you :hugs:

Well I am hoping to get appointment on next 4-6 weeks. My ovulation tests came in post and all organised in box in bathroom all ready to go with pee pot.
 
Hope you manage to get the implant taken out soon. It must be so frustrating. Best of luck! <3
 
Just to let u know I had the implant for 6 years and we decided to try so had it removed and got pregnant 2 weeks after having it taken out so it can happen real fast. I had just turned 39 as well.
Had the mini pill after having my son but stopped that in feb because we wanted to try for 1 more.
Im 40 now almost 41 and hubby is 45.
Its been 6 months. Its so crazy because it wasnt long ago I got pregnant with my son.
Not sure if the mini pill stays in the system for longer but its supposed to be the exact same as the implant only less effective.
So im quite surprised im still not pregnant.
Well I have fallen pregnant 3 times since April but those were all early losses/chemical pregnancies.
I expect my struggle is to do with my age but will keep trying and hoping.

I hope u get that implant out soon hon. And i hope it dont take long for u to fall.
Just wanted to pre warn u it can happen very very quickly

yeh my rush to get it out is due to the fact it took us nearly a year to conceive my son and we were 4 years younger then. we are both 30 years old now. my DH swimmers were checked and his swimmers are near enough 100% perfect. so found i may have had a blockage and the dye test had unblocked it ( i had an STI in my younger days and this was probs the cause), hoping it's stayed unblocked as i got pregnant within a few days of having the dye test with my son.

Really hope its still unblocked hon.
Sorry it took u so long to conceive ure son.
We are ttc our 4th baby.
Im 40 and my husband is 45.
I've been trying for almost 7 months now and I've had 3 early Misscariges since April.
I had losses in the past as well but never back to back like this. Its heart breaking.
Our youngest in 1 year old and even tho I was 39 when we conceived him we git pregnant 2 weeks after having the implant out.

I went on the mini pill at 6 weeks post partrum but u bleed constantly on it.
Our original plan wasn't to start ttc untill Jan,/feb 2021 but because of the constant bleeding on the mini pill and both our ages being so much against us we decided to start trying back in feb.
No luck yet sadly.

Im having bloods done this cycle for recurring Misscariges and I hope that gives me some answers.
Im hoping its nothing serious and we can still have our rainbow baby.
Im taking a break from ttc this cycle because of the blodtests but I mite start trying again in October or I mite give my body a really good break and then start again in December.
Im so nervous about the results of the bloodtests but im hoping if it is anything its just something that can be sorted with being perscribed some medication.
The doctor said it may be peri menopause but I ovulate every month so im hoping its not that and not anything that will prevent me ever carrying another healthy baby.

These last 7 months have been such a emotional rollercoaster.
I really hope I get my rainbow baby one day[-o&lt;

Really hope u conceive much faster this time around hon.
When are they planning to take out the implant?
 
OMG ladies, got my appointment for the implant to be removed. Getting it removed wednesday lunch time. i am over the moon, will be moving to TTC. my cycles returned to normal fast last time i had it out so hope its the same this time. :dust:

Good luck! I got pregnant straight after having my implant out, fingers crossed you have the same!!
