Implantation bleed at 5 weeks??

Helloooooo!

So this I post more because I found interesting. I am at 5 and a half weeks and today just once when I wiped I had some brown discharge, not much at all, exactly the same as my implantation bleeding at 11dpo!

Now I got worried, of course and called my doctor that I have back home (I live in the UK now and haven't met my doc yet) and he instantly without a worry said that its very common around 5 weeks to have some more implantation bleeding. Some women he said just have a 2nd round implantation. . . .

Have you ever heard of this?

Havn't heard of it this late but I do know it can be perfectly normal to spot at this stage. I personally didnt have any spotting, but somehow told myslef that if i did not to worry too much. If you start to bleed accompanied by intense cramps then I think it's serious but u should have nothing to worry about Just keep your eye on it for abit- hopefully it doesn't come back. Goodluck

I had it at around the same stage. My dr said any brown blood spotting is considered implantation bleeding, meaning that the bleeding is from the egg implanting. Generally people see it at the actual implantation time, but it can continue to bleed out for weeks after. Does that make any sense at all??

Hey chick, it could be breakthrough bleeding. I got this for a couple of months when i was pregnant with my son. You just bleed a small amount when your period was due. Some women get this throughout their whole pregnancy, its just hormones and nothing to worry about xx

Well as long as its not serious its not important! hehe I Haven't had any cramping at all and I only noticed it once when I went to the loo. Haven't seen anything since!!

I did have a very bad dream though about miscarrying! It must have been in my mind too much!!Glad I woke up and found all is ok for now!

Just can't wait for my scan next week now!

i had a bit of blood when i wiped at 5 weeks and then again at 9 weeks. It all seems to have settled down now and iv had scans so i know all is ok. x
