Implantation bleed or early period?

Has anyone ever had a heavy implantation bleed? My cycle is usually 27/28 days and this month I started bleeding on day 22, quite heavy but not AS heavy as usual, with a few cramps but not as bad.
It lasted 5 days when my period usually lasts 7?
Any help/clue??

This is currently happening to me. My cycle is usually 30 days but I started bleeding yesterday on CD25. I know I'm not pregnant. It just tends to happen from time to time and it's still considered a normal cycle. But it's possible yours is IB.
