Implantation bleeding and 5dpo

Hi ladies.

Im after some personal advice from people who have experienced implantation bleeding and received a positive.

My husband and i have been TTC for 18 months.
This month Im experiencing something i havent experienced before.
Okay here are details:
- Received positive ovulation test Saturday and Sunday (17th &18th)
BD on Sunday 18th.
- experienced pinkish spotting on tuesday then wednesday the size of 50c piece.
-nothing really thursday and wiped today (friday)and little bit again of pink.

Could this be IB?
Has anyone experienced this with same sort of timing and received positive that month? Is it to early?

this is definitely not normal. Im very regular ans never seen pink spotting before.

This would be a first pregnancy and im 31.

Hi Franchesca

I thought I could help maybe.... I had implantation bleeding, but it was a bit different from what you are describing.. I never got a true positive on my OPKs the month I got my BFP and the last of the second lines was I think on a Saturday. The next day, I started spotting (which could have been from ovulation or something but I dont know) had a two day break and then the friday of that same week (about one week or not more than 8 days before my period was supposed to come) I had more spotting. It was a strange deal because it was light light pink and would start around 10 in the morning and every couple of hours or so I would notice it only when I wipped. Never needed a panty liner or pad and it would be done before I went to bed. I did my math and while I do normally spot before my periods, had my period started it would have been the shortest cycle I had ever experienced in all my years of cycles so when it never progressed to a full flow, I suspected and decided to test a couple of days later and it was positive. By the friday I would have missed my period, I had a positive digital test and I think I went through a dozen pregnancy tests in the weeks between the first positive and my first appointment. I am still tempted to test but am having to hold myself together as tests stop being accurate after a while and I dont want to freak myself out any more than I already am...

Still not sure at this stage. Not 5 feeling any other symptoms and just hope it means something great is happening but dont want to get my hopes up.

Yay Franchesca.... its interesting huh. Its kind of like you want to believe it but its hard to because it took a minute to get there... at least thats how it is with me. I am 11 weeks today and counting down to my appointment next week that will confirm everything is still going well and finally being done with the first trimester. So nerve wracking... please feel free to PM me if you have questions..

Good luck and let me know how u go with your appointment. Yes i did see a line but i thought it was my eyes! Then i pulled out the one from a few days ago and there is a very very faint line i didnt look at hard enough
