Implantation Bleeding... or AF?

Hi All - We are TTC. I am still irregular with my cycle since coming off of Nuva Ring - two cycles have been between 27-29 days and then a 43 day cycle but AF is always 5 days regardless of when I get it. We used an OPK this past cycle and on 10 DPO I had some very light bleeding along with minor cramps that night. We DTD and for the next 24 hours I had moderate bleeding. Next day it was almost nothing and now on the 4th day it was nothing except for a light pink spot here and there when I wipe. Today is 6 days before AF is supposed to arrive, but since I'm not that regular, I don't know if that was AF or IB and if DTD could cause more bleeding. I read that IB should not be anything but light... I had a BFN this morning. Should I test again in a few days or was this AF? Wondering if anyone else had similar occurrences??

I am having something similar happening to me, except I am at the point where i should be ovulating. Although since i don't temp or use opk's yet i am unsure if its ovulation bleeding or implantation bleeding. I have short cycles though, so who knows. Now depending on how heavy your AF usually is, my opinion is that it might be implantation or even a late ovulation bleed. It shouldn't get as heavy as a regular period but one sign that will set it apart is ewcm which can happen during implantation too. I wish you good luck.

Unfortunately I've asked myself the same thing many times since coming off birth control. I have had many 1-2 day periods and often with other symptoms that mimic pregnancy so I swear I'm pregnant but then get the BFN. It is super frustrating but I think it's part of the body readjusting hormones. Hopefully it means something different for you! Test again in a few days just to put your mind at ease.

mine is kind of similar. my period comes every 30-33 days and I am on bc (implant nexplanon) . I don't keep track of my ovulation days. but around the time of the middle of my cycle I dtd and then I took antibiotics 5 days later. now 23 days later after dtd I ended up spotting . being the 3rd day im either spotting or very very light period. and it came about the time of my period was supposed to come - with cramping light. I had bfn 2x and now waiting til the 28th (this Saturday ) to take the last hpt . I hope, if youre ttc, that you have success! GL to you!

If it was before AF was due then it may not be af especially if it was super light. It may just be mid-cycle spotting because your coming off of bc. I am coming off the depo shot and i have had the weirdest spotting ever and my cycle is irregular as all get out and its been five months since my last shot wore off. From what i have read though IB usually happens right around your missed period or maybe the week before so it could very well be frer could be used in the next couple days just to see.
