Implantation bleeding or super early AF?

Hi ladies,
We have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years now with no luck So this month I got a positive opk! which we are super excited about!!(only had 2 in the past 2 years) But I have had af like cramps 1-5 dpo and starting yesterday morning which was 8 dpo I starting spotting brown but only when I wipe, so I was sure I was going to start full flow when I woke up this morning since thats what usually happens once I spot (My periods are always super heavy and a good 8 or 9 days)...but nope. I am still spotting only when I wipe though. And when I do ovulate my period comes 14 days later every time so I am quite confused as to why I would start af so early? Maybe its implantation bleeding? I dont know what to think because I am bloated as well. I really doubt it is implantation bleeding but wishful thinking huh lol

Short answer - Are you on meds? I've found that can mess with timing. And I'm with you on the spotting and what it usually means, and I've had it happen early for no apparent reason.

Long answer -

The cycle before I started Clomid was only like 22 days, which is at least a couple days shorter than my cycles usually are (they are definitely on the short side!!). Stress, maybe? I don't know.

Are you on any meds?

Since being on meds - Clomid and injections - my cycles have mostly regulated, except for last month...20 day cycle.

I've had trouble with spotting, too, and tend to start AF within days of the spotting. Out of the past 7 cycles, the only cycle I did not spot was when I was on Crinone, which is a progesterone med. Not sure if that had anything to do with it, but it made me happy to not spot...even though AF did come.

This month, I did injections and Crinone and am waiting to see if I spot. I suppose if I see a little, it could be implantation (!!), but with my history, who knows

Okay today is 10 dpo and I broke down and tested and there was a very faint line within seconds but it might just be an evap? I used answer brand...who knows? I will test again in the morning!
