So I got my bfp at 9dpo. Last night at 13 dpo I noticed a rush of pink tinged cm on my panty liner and that night I started spotting bright red but only when I wiped.

I'm so confused as to why I'm bleeding? Could this be the start of a mc? I don't think it's ib because I believe I already implanted BEFORE getting my bfp.

Anyone else experienced this kind of spotting after their bfp?

Thankfully the spotting has now stopped this morning and I'm praying it doesn't start again

I would just let your ob know. He or she may do an early scan. I know its impossible, but try to just relax until the first scan. I spotted too and had to make peace with waiting a few days. Spotting is very normal in early pregnancy. :) good luck.

I spotted at the same time I measured 7 weeks and they told me it was most likely implantation bleeding. I was surprised that it can happen that late, but I suppose if baby continues to burrow in or the blood waits to come out. The good news is that the spotting has stopped. I would just let your doctor know, I know how scary it is... I sat in the emergency waiting room for 8 hours before they saw me.

There's no way to know for sure unless you get your blood levels checked. It could be nothing. I had the same problem last cycle and it was a chemical pregnancy but I got my hcg levels checked every 48 hours until they disappeared. That doesn't mean this is what's happening to you.

Sending you good vibes!!

It can definitely happen.

I tested and got my bfp with DD at 13 DPO and started spotting that afternoon (though brown) that lasted a couple of days. I pretty much cried during those two days, and it just turned out to be old from implantation. I didn't have an OB or my midwife yet and just kind of waited to see what it was going to do first, but I did get into my PCP the following week for some labs, but I only had 1 beta done, but things seemed fine after that.

With DS I tested and got bfp at 18 DPO. I can't remember if it was a few days later or the following week, but I had a lot of brown spotting (more than with DD). I checked CP and it was low, firm, and seemed open. I called my midwife and she had me go in for a beta a few days apart. Everything turned out fine.

So it can be completely normal. However, I think it's always worth a call to your practitioner to let them know. They may want to do lab work or they may say it's completely fine. Either way I'm always a fan of calling the practitioner as it may help in giving you some peace of mind. Worrying can be absolutely taxing, and, while it may not completely alleviate worries, I think it helps to know that they are at least looking into it or that they can provide some reassurance.

Thinking of you :hugs:
