Implantation spotting for 2 days?

I was due to start my period between Wednesday and today.
Wednesday early evening I started with brown spotting & assumed by morning I would be bleeding. I had period pain for a few hours in the evening also which I don't normally get until my period properly starts. All day yesterday I had really light brown spotting & this morning it's a little heavier but still light brown.
Just wondering if it could be implantation bleeding with it going on so long? I did have implantation spotting with my daughter but it was just a few spots one day & that was it.
