Hello ladies,

I had a smiley on my clearblue easy digital ovulation kit on cd10 (very early) because I'd always thought that I ovulate later). My husband and I had sex that evening (ca. 1dpo) and again two days later (ca. 3 dpo) since the clearblue instructions mentioned that we should have intercourse within 48 hours of getting the smiley.

On cd23 or roughly 13dpo, I had a brown-looking discharge when I wiped after going to the loo. It might have been implantation spotting as it lasted for only a day. I have never experieced this before and I also do not spot before af. The spotting took place 3 days ago and now I am on cd26. My cycles range from 25-29 days. My af should arrive either today or in 2-3 days but I'm hoping it stays away.

I don't have too many symptoms other than the implantation bleeding and sore boobs that occur earlier in the cycle than usual. The soreness has since subsided a little but I have itchy breasts and nipples.

I would like to poas tomorrow (cd27/17dpo) but am afraid of getting a BFN. I don't want to be disappointed for the upteenth time. My husband and I have been trying to conceive since a year. I am 32 and he is 37.

My question is: is it too early to poas tomorrow (17dpo) and what do you think my chances of being pregnant are?

Thanks in advance for your comments!

It's not too early to test as your period was already due a few days ago.

As for your chance of being pregnant, no one can tell you that for sure, although I've read that for healthy couples who time sex with ovulation correctly, there is a 20% chance of conceiving each month.

@purplecupcake thanks for your reply. I am only afraid to test and get another bfn, that's why I'm waiting for a little while more. But i also read that 3 days after implantation spotting should also be enough wait to test. I'll try to have a go at it tomorrow. Thanks again for your comment!

I think you should test =) Good luck!

I tested this morning (18dpo) at around 5:30 am with first morning urine with a digital test and I have a positive :) This is my first time being pregnant and I am very happy about it!
