Hi ladies I finished with my OH today. We've broken up numerous times and people have said "talk about it" and I've tried buy I just end up being miserable. I really isn't anything he has done I'm just not in love with him anymore :( . I just feel so guilty about ending it because I've hurt him. His friends dont help getting involved and making me feel shit. I know it's for the best but I'm petrified I'll cave in just for an easy life. How did you maintain the strength not to give in and go back into the realtionship? X

Aiden will give you the strength :hugs:

Just think your doing whats best by him, he will grow up a much happier boy with a happy mummy, if you are unhappy he will sense it. you'll be fine, it just takes time xx

:hugs: I agree completly with Claire hun.

I bet you you'll notice a difference with Aiden maybe he'll be happier and laughing more and thats when you'll realise that it's for the best :hugs: xx

I agree that you will find the strength. Huge hugs :hugs: xx

if you are positive you have done the right thing then its not difficult to have the strength to not give in.

im so so sorry. i think its harder when the relationship comes to a "natural" end where no one has done anything wrong coz there is no where to lay the blame so to speak and it just goes round and round. :hugs:

it does get easier after a while but the first few months are the worst. take your time and dont push anything just go with the flow and find your feet.

Aiden will give you the strength hun. Don't feel guilty. These things happen. Ignore his friends. Of course they will stand up for him. Chin up babe x

:hugs: I'm in roughly the same situation as you at the moment. I was the one who asked him to leave, and have been thinking about it for a long time, now that hes gone I just feel lost.

I'm on here most of the time so if you ever need to chat/vent/cry feel free to PM me.

I am also in the same boat hun...its hard but im hoping things will fall into place eventually and i will feel tonnes better about it all xx

I'm also in this boat, going round and round in circles of trying to make it work when I just don't care anymore. Actually taking the plunge is the hardest bit, it'll gradually get easier now!
