in need of some pma!! this week

hi ladies looking for some pma!!! Im usually really positive but it was this time in my last pregnancy that we lost our little one. Im over thinking every little twinge and when I go to the toilet scared to look down! I hae another scan wednesday and it cant come soon enough.

anybody else been through this and come out the other end? I just want to see a heart beat on weds, xxx

I am going through this - my edd was 20th July - I took time off work - just don't need that on top this emotional time. I think it would be the same pg or not - as nothing will fill that hole or take away the grief of loss.

It's good you have a scan soon - it'll put your mind at ease

My last preg ended somewhere between 8 - 9 weeks, so im getting a private scan at 9 weeks. Hopef all will be well.

I definitely remember the feeling when we were nearing the point where we lost our first. Terrifying and overwhelming, to say the least. I cried when I first heard his little heartbeat and saw him wiggling around on the ultrasound screen, partly because I was so happy and relieved, but also because I was still so angry about all the things we'd missed out on with our first. The moment was definitely bittersweet for me. However, after that point I felt like a load had been lifted from my shoulders and although I was still anxious, I could finally relax and fall completely in love with THIS baby.

Remind yourself that the odds are definitely in your favor. I'm sure that Wednesday is going to be an unforgettable, amazing experience Be sure to come back and tell us all about it!

Same as lori, I was a wreck the week which we would have lost before. Take each day slow, don't expect too much of yourself and be gentle with yourself. If you need space and time, take it. Meditate, and relax, fill yourself with wonderful and healthy foods and look after you. Remember, there is no reason to believe this will happen again to you, and try and keep the positivity knowing that your little baby loves your happy hormones! Sending - you will get through it -x-
