if i put claim in over phone tomorrow mornin first thing when should i hear about it etc and when should they start paying

you put in your claim and they usually send you out an appointment to come in and sign things with an adviser......this can take about 2 weeks....then you have to wait and see if you qualify which again can take about 2 weeks. We waited about 7-9 weeks for ours to all be done etc

hi hun i lived in scotland and it tooks weeks!!! yet in north yorks it took 2-4weeks

Some cases can be days, others can be weeks, depends how fast they want to process your claim.

I'm in Scotland as well & mine was sorted within a fortnight.

Im not in scotland but they wouldnt let us do it over the phone , we had to sign papers & fill forms in ourselves. Once i'd given it in i think it took around 2wks & i got paid in the 3rd week by giro then after that it went into the bank
