I am so upset right now and I just don't know what to do =(
My partner and I split in October, he left our private rented flat and me with our then 5 month old daughter. I was still receiving SMP up to the 30th December. On the 2nd January I rang Income Support to see if and what I was entitled too. Went through all the questions about work history blah blah blah. Was sent the forms to sign and sent them back lastest 13th January.
Didn't hear anything back so I rang them yesterday. The lady said the processing team hadn't received anything but someone would ring me to go through everything...
Get a phone later saying they were so sorry for misplacing my form and all I'd have to do is go to the Job Centre today and sign a form ^_^
Go to job centre today, signed the form and was told it should be cleared by Monday...
I then get a phone call from the processing team to say the claim won't go through as they haven't received my last payslip! At no point was I asked for a payslip, not even on the claim form that they misplaced was I asked for a payslip =(
I unfortunately broke down in tears and had to hang up on the lady =(
The last time I had ask my old work for a payslip it took over a week to get to me!
