I wasn't sure where to post this. We are thinking of ttc #2 soon as my implant is due out. Rio was 2 months premature and doctors suspected my labour was due to incompetent cervix but never actually did any more looking into why I had him.
My concern is that if I do have an incompetent cervix what will happen? Is there any way I can go to the GP and have any 'tests' done to see if I have it? How do you know? Or do I just have to wait til I'm pregnant and find out the hard way hoping nothing happens.
I really don't want to go through another premature birth. I know often people have term babies after a preemie but I've always wondered why and when the doctor mentioned incompetent cervix to me I've been worried ever since but was so wrapped up in NICU I never thought to ask about myself!
