Indent in her gums?.... Update - We have a tooth!!!

Megan looks like she has 2 indents where her front bottom teeth will be coming through. Is this what you see before the teeth pop through? She wont let me see long enough to describe it any better! I cant tell if it looks like little holes or just the top of the tooth? Its not hard yet though when I touch them.

Not concerned.... just excited if this means teeth will be arriving soon!

If your baby had something that looked like this.... how long til you actually got a tooth?






Update: LOL - well Megan cut her first tooth so I guess it was ready to pop through. I can actually feel her tooth this morning vs just her gums.

Although it was a rough night... as she had her 6mo shots yesterday afternoon as well. It was NOT a fun night for mom!
But she woke up bright eyed and ready for the day!

Hi! I am not part of this forum, but I was just googling to see if I could find the answer to the exact question you asked. I was wondering the same thing. My daughter Aleeya was born 12-31-09, and she has what look like tiny holes on her gums, but I cant see long enough to describe it better. I told my husband I thought it was a tooth coming in, and he argued and said he thought it was a cold sore. I guess we'll find out soon!

Woohoo, congratulations! It is so exciting when they start getting their teeth! Poor little thing though with teething on top of vaccinations, that can't have been fun at all!

ETA just noticed that post was from June! Belated congratulations anyway! I was thinking that Megan already had teeth!
