Induction at 37 weeks stories please

I'm being induced with the tablet tomorrow at 37 weeks and I'm wondering about anyones experiences how long did it take to get you started and how was the Labour?

Hi was induced at 38 weeks, had gel for 24 hours then my waters where broken , 4 hours later proticin and he was born 3 hours later after 15 mins pushing. I had a great experience which I wasn't expecting because of all the horror stories around induction. in fact looking forward to my labour in a couple of weeks !

Hi thanks for the response I was induced on 29th I had 3 of the prostin tablet which progressed me to 1.5 cm and all pains stopped after 32 hours I had my water broken at 10.47 on the 31st and nothing happened for 2 hours so they put me on oxytocin 2 hours later which brought pains on very quickly by 4.30 I was 3cm and by 4.56 hes head was born 2 pushes and I had my baby at 37+2 6lb 6.5oz it was a long process but totally worth it
