Hey

Was wondering everyones experiences with Infacol? I've heard it can make babies restless...my wee one is terrible at napping, waking after 10 mins, and not sleeping anywhere enough...I can't take her out in the buggy for every nap (this is a sure fire way to get her to sleep but not a good method going forward)

Is it possible infacol is a double edged sword ???

Infacol didn't make my son restless but it didn't do what it was supposed to do, so we changed to Gripe water instead, which has been much more effective.

We never had a problem with it either. Stopped using it now and he naps the same as he did when he was on it.
We also tried gripe water, which seemed to work as well, so might be worth a go if you think it is the infacol causing the problem.

I can't say Megan has a problem sleeping and she has infacol. She does seem to be awake a lot for a baby her age but when she sleeps she does sleep in big chunks so I don't think infacol is causing any side effects like that. I just think my little babba is a nosy moo!!! She always wants to know what is goingon so doesn't like going to sleep in the first place lol!

Could it be a growth spurt?

Matthew still doesn't nap much :dohh: We don't use Infacol anymore as his winding is a lot better now but there's been no difference off or on it.

:hugs: Hope your LO starts napping better soon!

infacol didnt do that to kacey either. didnt work though either.

Nor Ethan I'm afraid - sounds like it's something else affecting his naps x

Infacol worked a treat for us and didnt cause problems with Bobby sleeping xx

My son was on infacol and it did wonders for his colic but he never slept before it or on it so didn't make a difference. He learned to sleep well at 6 months but before that he would never sleep longer that 10 mins at a time in the day and 2 hours ay a time through the night - I think some babies just hate sleeping and have to learn how to sleep
