I have just bought some. Is it ok to use as a precautionary?

I find it hard to burp Scarlett sometimes and she ends up screaming and this morning puked all over her moses basket. Night feeds end up a complete nightmare because it is taking me about an hour in total each feed to burping and she doesn't always burp but cries with her legs curled up so I know something needs to come out.

If she doesn't actually have colic, is it safe to use? Do you just put a drop on their tongue?

You can try it and see if it makes a difference. Just remember that it can take a while to build up in their system so give it time. It worked for a while with my LO but then stopped working so I had to try something else.
Good luck x x

Yeah its fine to use, there's a squeezy syringe thingy in lid too. We used it for our first (luckily haven't needed it this time). It is brilliant :)

My LO is exactly the same and we use infacol. It has definitely made it easier to get her wind up but she still seems uncomfortable some nights. Been using it for about 3-4 days and can see a difference. The bottle says it 'relieves wind, infant colic and griping pain' so she doesn't necessarily need to have colic for you to use it. We used Dentinox for a while but Infacol seems to be the best one for us although I suppose it's trial and error depending on your baby. The dropper in infacol is much easier to use to. Good luck, hope it works for you x

hi if u give it bout twenty mins before los bottle it works better

Oops, I acted hastily and gave it her right away! :dohh:

To be honest though, her face after I gave it her was a picture so I gave her the milk to take the taste away. Strangely though it seems to have worked a treat first time, got 2 big burps up just by sitting her up and she is sleeping soundly on daddy now! :happydance:

We use infacol. It's amazing stuff :')

three things made a difference to my little one's wind - infacol, colief and dr brown's bottles. colief is slightly different, it breaks down undigested lactose, but i am not sure which one solved the problem so health visitor and pharmacist both said its ok to carry on giving colief and infacol together. the dr brown's bottles are amazing. they are a bit pricey but i wouldn't be without them. my lo is now calm and chilled out rather than full of wind!
