Update: I got the job offer I was hoping for! Day shift ED, 5 minutes from where we want to live. We drove down to tour and apply, and the lady there said we should hear back Monday. They didn’t have a non-smoking version of the cheapest ones so we had to go up about $100 from what we planned, but the two cheapest non-smoking building apartments were $35 apart and one was a 1 bedroom, one was a 2 bedroom. We said screw it, give us the 2 bedroom at that point, we can have an office for our computer desks like we do now. So hopefully they’ll approve us. We lived there before and got our security deposit back, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t.

Yeah my social is pretty locked down. He only had access to my Instagram which is mostly just stories of random reels or A and me. It is entirely possible he just is intimidated because I have my ducks in a row and he doesn’t and he is very machismo. Idk it’s whatever.

Um bartender has long term DTD potential like I can look him up any time I’m at Disney lol. I joked if he moved to the bay he could be my kept man

Yeah I’m 5’2 so tall guys are fun but honestly these short guys are easier on the neck/ hand holding/ proportions for me haha.

But idk what’s in the water because this past month I’m pulling nothing but 25-30. must be all these Nicole Kidman movies with younger men lol

Literally everyone has mentioned the 2nd bedroom being good for an oops (or planned) and by everyone I mean DH and my mother, and all of you of course.

@gigglebox yeah I figure just background check and checking their records on us as tenants.

@autumnal I am 5’8”, so we have a 4 inch height difference. It’s never bothered me, but he also has wide shoulders, so my evolution brain (or whatever it is) is probably like “BROAD MAN PROTECT” his shoulders don’t quite fit in his own airplane seat and he feels bad cuz he’s taking up other people’s seat space not sure if the photo does his shoulders justice, but you can see he’s much wider than me lol

Yeah idk that I’ve met a guy shorter than me. I was pretty much eye to eye with these last two guys, though I was in a short heel with one.

Haha yeah was just there for work. Not sure if I mentioned that but basically my school won a state award and the ceremony is at Disneyland. I got lucky and won the raffle to go so my airfare, airport parking, meals, and swanky room at the Disneyland Resort were all comped by my district. I just had to pay for my Disney ticket and meals on my extra day/my room for the extra night I stayed.

Lolllll this is literally a thought I’ve had about myself and my husband getting the best angles of me lmao

Well I’m about to have a weekend of indulgence before I try to do my best with the weight loss/exercise efforts again. We’re celebrating end of school with junk food (the kids made me a list to go buy), movies, and probably a ton of video games. We just did end of year testing (for our home school, we have to test to prove to the state that they’re learning) and they all did great! I think I’m more nervous about it that the kids are. I’m always terrified we aren’t doing enough. They are excelling across the board compared to the national average of kids their ages so I’m happy and a proud mama.

Anyway this is it, I gotta get back to milf status fat chance with the horrible sleep though…

Update: we got approved for the apartment, I’m just waiting for the official written welcome letter, but I’ve gotten verbal confirmation over the phone from two of the leasing people that our move in date is a go. DH just accepted a job at Firestone, starting pay is $19.20 and there’s lots of opportunity for advancement, so it’s much better than driving for FedEx, that’s a bit of a dead end job. And it’ll pay rent.
