Infant Gaviscon Q

Hi all

Dr has diagnosed Toby with silent reflux? She's prescribed him infant Gaviscon and if that doesn't help, she'll give him Ranitidine.

I know that Gaviscon makes the milk a bit thicker, will this affect the milk coming through his teats?

He's on size 3 teats at the moment, with Avent or TT bottles (we haven't yet worked out which suit him best since this silent reflux problem has got ten times worse). Will he need a faster flow? He doesn't like TT variflow teats - can't get anything from them!

My lo as just been put on this and also have comfort milk I use 6+ month plus teats although she is only 16 wks try him and see how he is x

We never had a problem with gavison thickening up to the point it didnt come out of the teats properly, we use SMA milk and MAM bottles, never had a problem
