Hi,
Our son who shall turn 3 months on the 22nd of March will not sleep in the pram at no cost. We have tried everything which includes:
1) swaddling
2) gently rocking him in our arms and once he is in deep sleep slowly transition him into his pram.
3) all of the above and white noise
He was exclusively breastfed up to 2 weeks ago and we have now introduced one formula bottle a day ( at around 8 pm ) to see if this puts him more into deep sleep and stay in his pram. This was all in vain since after a mere 20 - 30 minutes he is up again with eyes wide open.
The only place that he sleeps is on my chest and nowhere else. On average from 24 hours he stays in his pram for two 30 minute periods. No more no less. As you can imagine this is extremely exhausting. We cannot think of anymore options of what we can do to settle him down on his own. Recently I am being able to transition him next to me on the bed after he falls asleep but this only lasts a few minutes and I don't see it safe as I am afraid I might roll upon him.
He doesn't suffer from COLIC or purple crying he is quite a settled baby but this issue is driving us insane.
Anyone has any other advice please ?
Thank you.
