Infasoy (soya formula) causing belly ache :(

Hi

I bf the majority of feeds however give a small amount (4oz) of formula in the evening prior to feeding. I was giving her aptimal comfort until yesterday as we took her for an allergy test and it showed up she has a moderate allergy to cows milk. I gave her infasoy last night (as soya didn't show up on the allergy test), she took it fine however all day today she has been in pain and uncomfortable with belly ache , I feel so bad and don't know whether to perecevere so her body gets used to it, revert back to aptimal although it is made from cows milk or stop the formula feed altogether.

Has anybody else had a similar experience with soya milk or have any suggestions as to what I should do for the best, thanks x

Mirren was constipated for over a week when we started infasoy - her body has to get used to digesting a whole different thing. if she's showing signs of constipation try offering water in-between feeds - sometimes just an ounce of water makes a difference.

If you are still BF then you may need to cut out dairy from your diet too......
