Infection after erpc

Its now close to 3 weeks after my erpc (for a mmc) and I am back on antibiotics for an infection. I went to the docs after experiencing moderate pain in my lower abdomen and also spoke to her about the strong positives I was still getting on HPTs. She suspects there is some retained tissue and a low grade infection so I am on 2 lots of antibiotics to try and sort it out - 9 out of 10 people will lose or absorb the remainder tissue on their own so fingers crossed. She sent me for bloods to check that my HCG levels are dropping. It came back at 40 which is ok as long as it continues to go down - back next monday for another.

Hopefully this will sort it out once and for all and I can get my cycle back into action soon - its certainly isn't helping closure. She told us not to even think about trying again until I have been through at least one cycle because of the infection. I feel crap.

I'm off to see my friend tonight whose baby was born 2 weeks ago so I hope I can hold it together

Sorry you are still going through this, I know just how you feel.
I'm still waiting for a bfn, 9 weeks on, it's horrible
