Is anyone else having trouble with insomnia? As exhausted as I am, I just can't sleep to save my life!!! I'll be so exhausted, I can hardly keep my eyes open, but it still takes me 2-3 hours to fall asleep at night. And I can't remember the last time I actually slept through the night without waking up...and once I wake up, I can't get back to sleep again. It's SOO frustrating!! How on earth are we supposed to deal with the fatigue of pregnancy if we're also insomniac?

My Dr. said that I could take Tylenol PM to help me sleep, after trying it a couple of times and finding that it didn't help, I've given up. Any ideas? I'm expecting to not get a decent night's sleep *after* the baby is born, but I would like to be able to sleep before!:hissy:

Aww hon, I'm sorry you're going through that. I have no advice but just wanted to give you a :hugs: and I hope you start getting some rest soon.

i going through the same thing at the moment and its driving me bonkers xx have found baths rather relaxing before going to bed xxx

Im the same way:hissy:
Im soooo tired then when i get to sleep i sleep for a few hours then im wide awake. all i can do is lay there and think. it drives me crazy. why do we do this?!

You might want to ask your doctor is Ambien would be right for you. Some women have found success with their insomnia with this medication.

I struggled to sleep, so I used to have a candle lit bath with Radox, and a nice massage afterwards and that used to chill me out enough at times! Good Luck I hope you find something that works! x

I went through this also. It finally did get better after taking tylenol pm a few times and getting a full night sleep. I did have the the opp effect with tylenol sinus nightime. Sometimes I think meds effect you differently when your pregnant because I useto love my tylenol sinus.

-Maybe try taking a warm bath, some milk and your OH or DH to rub your feet while you lay down...that's how I fall asleep the best!! ;)

I had insomia before i was pregnant and my Dr and I felt it best to stay on the Ambien, im not going to do myself or the baby any good with no sleep.
Good Luck
