My problem is I wake up in the early hours, like 3/4am, then can't get back to sleep! And it's not like I go to bed super early - I usually head through about 10.30! Xx
Omg so glad I'm not the only one experiencing this! Its awful isn't it?! For the past two weeks I've been waking up between 4 and 430 am....but going to bed around nine, so not to to bad. But today, went to bed at ten and up wide awake at 2 am....I thought we are supposed to be exhausted all the time and able to sleep forever during the first trimester?!
I had horrible insomnia prior to getting pregnant, then once I got preg I was actually sleeping quite well. Now that Ive lost all symptoms, Im heading back to the insomnia crap again. Boo!!
This might sound a bit odd but have you tried going to bed oy when you're absolutely shattered a d ready to sleep? I had some stress related sleep disturbance along the same pattern and my doc suggested I try that. It worked a treat - when I went to be I was actually totally ready to sleep and managed a full 8 hours xx
I'm the same, wake up at around 3ish and can't get back to sleep. Well... Actually, I do.. I start to doze off just before my alarm for work goes off!! I even mentioned it to my GP, he said there's nothing they can suggest.
I haven't been able to get to sleep until past midnight and then I can't go back to sleep when I wake up in the early hours of the morning. So frustrating.
I have not slept for more than 4 hours a night for the past 2 weeks as well!! I go to bed at 10pm and lay there till 1 am, fall asleep on and off ( then I have to get up for the bathroom!) and fall into a deep sleep from 5am to 6:45am , then my alarm goes off!! My work is suffering and I am miserable
That sounds about like me, mercedybear! Except I am a SAHM, lol. However we have a special needs child so I have to take our kid to a lot of therapies and appointments. I come in like I need a nap in the lobby LOL
