Has Any one used these?

I am slightly confused as I know you arent meant to carry around warm milk with the risk of bacteria, but also you are meant to add powdered formula to water warmer than 70 degrees, surely though the insulated carrier cannot keep the water this hot for up 2 five hours as it says!

Any info on how others use these would be great as going out on Saturday and wont have access to a kettle etc and Olivia will not take her milk cold or at room temperature.

Thanks x

I have one, but I only started using it when I started using powdered formula. I put hot water in the bottle, and I have a special container for formula... So there isnt a risk of bacteria (unkless you use old water and leave it for days of course).

So its ok to boil the kettle and fill the bottle and put in the insulated carrier, and then when you need to feed LO add the powder (I have one of those powder carriers), oh its all so confusing!

ya its perfectly fine, if let it cool a bit before you put it in the warmer, I know my bottle warmer really kept things warm for a long time.

I have just bought two and they don't fit Dr Brown bottles.....

ive got the avent insulator and to be honest its crap...i put boiling water in a bottle and put it in and after 2 hours its the right temp for him to drink so i have to make sure i go out when hes due a bottle in 2 hours and no longer lol

I have one but I just use it to carry the bottles in and use a flask for the hot water. I don't trust them to keep the bottles at the right temp. Also have you thought about the ready made cartons for your day out? I either use a flask or ready made cartons. I have these sterile travel teat protectors too so dont have to worry about taking a sterliser out with me now.

Ive got some but i use a flask with hot water instead so i doubt ill use them!

I always cool the water down before i go out and never take hot water...then again i always find somewhere to heat the bottle and haven't taken my LO anywhere where i get caught out with her feeds so it might be a good idea for me to invest in a bottle insulator lol!!!

I've got the Tommee Tippee ones and they're FAB! If i'm off out, i'll stick a bottle with water warmer than he'd normally have it in the insulator and take a measure of formula separately. They keep the water warm for hours and hours. Brilliant for long days out. Just make the water warmer the longer you plan on staying out.

we are the exact same hun, i got avent one, it does fit avent dr brown bottles in which is good but u have to make it piping hot so it is warm enough by the time you need it, it says will keep insulated for 4 hours but no way does it work.
i just put hot water and milk container and mix when i need it
