I didn't know this until I read about it while doing research during my second pregnancy. But a woman even after her water breaks still makes 1/2-1 cup amniotic fluid an hour which is why it seems like there is a continuous stream of liquid!

I thought so too! It definitely makes me understand how a woman can feel like there is a constant flow of fluid down there too! Which really can be annoying.

That's because fluids we take in are still going to the baby This is why when some people have pin prick leaks it can reseal. Or low levels can go back up (women can have low levels in 3rd tri because of dehydration).
