So what do you call your little bundle of joy before it's born?

We've been calling ours beanie, but now it's a little person I want it to have a name before it's born before it gets it's official name.

What do you call yours and any suggestions

My parents called me SID (sex in doubt) but just reminds of the stupid sloth animal thing from Ice Age! x

Ours is bean too, seems strange to call her that now we know shes a girl and that she doesnt really resemble a bean anymore :haha:. We've decided not to name her until shes born, so we cant even speed up the choosing a name thing . xx

we called our lo peanut, we didnt think about it just started calling her our litttle peanut. we still call her it sometimes now

Ours is Larry... don't laugh. S/he was "Happy as Larry" at the 12 week scan! However, now we know she is a girl I am finding it a bit strange to call her that...

I've just been referring to mine as 'the parasite'!!
Freya was known as the alien baby...

Hmmmm... Maybe I should work on that?

Just "baby" or "the baby" here. We've almost decided on a name i think, but OH wants to keep it secret until he's born so I can't use it in the house incase it slips out when I'm around friends/family xx

Even though we have had a name picked out since 20 weeks, we still call him "little man".

really didnt call him anything til we found out he was a boy now we call him by his name :) boring I know...

Lol, we call our LO Peanut. My mother calls him/her Repeat...I'm really not sure why. We don't know the sex for sure yet, but I usually refer to the baby as "him" or "he," just because saying "the baby" is too much work.

When I was pregnant we called him/her sesame because my baby book said that the fetus was about the size of a sesame seed. Unfortunately I miscarried just before 8 weeks.

mine's gettin 'PJ' cuz our 2 chosen names start with a P and a J!!

Mmm i have couple names before i found out the gender it was 'flump' lol! dont know why.. then it turned into 'wriggler' cause he always wriggles lol .. but when i found out what i was having its been 'lil man' .. tbh i should nickname him after 'mash tato' cause everytime i eat it he seems to kick me loads i find that odd lol x

When I was pregnant...Baby Batman...long story. It stuck though.

I call my LO Dixie Dot
OH took a serious fancy to this name but no way can i call my child that lol.
So i'm compromising by calling her Dixie while she's still in the womb!
x

weve gone through loads, when we first found it he was always called 'bean' then it felt a bit weird when he wasnt anything like a bean so we called him 'LO' then when we found out he was a boy we called him 'little man' and now weve chosen his name we call him Archie :D lol

We call ours Minipose, it is because I call my fiance Adipose and early on I felt certain the baby was a boy and would be a mini version of my fiance so baby is Minipose. Its really stuck, we are going to end up finding it hard to call him a normal name!

i call it bubs, i might start calling by its proper name when i know if its a boy or a girl but probably will still call it bubs!

Adam was Brenda till we found out she was a he. Then he was Adam Elliott (never just Adam). We hadn't decided we'd definitely call him that till he was born but by then we were so used to it that we couldn't call him anything else. :D
