Our baby has been called Banana for months now, even our friends and family call him/her it!! 'How's Banana doing?' Lmao!! At one point a pregnancy book said baby was the length and weight of a banana and it has just stuck.

I actually love it and have gotten so used to it that it seems like a real name!! If only we were celebs and could get away with calling baby Banana

Oh and sometimes if we're having a day that we think baby is a boy it's Bananoo haha.

I've never really called my bump anything other than " bump " or baby , originally on here i did say " spud " but that faded. I know he's a boy now so his name is said more & more as the days go on though x

ours is Terri.
Was Terry till we found out she was a girl so had to change the spelling!
OH came up with it at our 12 wk scan so we didnt have to say 'it' or 'bump' and coz Terry can be a boy or girl

Wow thanks for all the responses ladies. It's amazing the different names you have all come up with.

Well we settled on flump. It was going to be bob, but convinced DH we wanted something not akin to a sex. We're not finding out the sex til it's born. I like the idea of each initial of the first name for each sex chosen, which would make ours MA, which happen to be my initials anyway! Cool.

PS Pink Tinks I love the due in january in your sig - where's it from?

Mine is Gary..i name i dont really like lol. He has that name as weeks ago i was watching only fools and horses and it was the episode where they go to France and bring the lad back by accident and all he says is 'Gary' (this is a clip of it) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyR...7486A701&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=25 so i started saying it in the same way he did and Baby started kicking, we noticed every time anyone said it he would bounce around so the name kinda stuck..lol

our bump started off as bumpy - then when we got a doppler, because he is really active, it makes 'wibble' sounds as we call it... which concluded with the name 'edmund' as in edmund blackadder, after the blackadder goes fourth episode!
we still call him edmund when he is being really fidgety, but we usually just call him the name we have decided on
