I'm asking about getting mine done this cycle so this will be very helpful thanks

I got mine done today but it is only CD2 - doc said CD 2 not 3? Hope it is ok to have them done today?
I probably won't get the results until my appointment on 16th Dec :dohh: You can't help but worry at my age (37)

I had mine done on cd2 and my Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) was 6.2 i think gyno said and average they look for is 6 however i do have pcos only symtons is irregular cycles, she said alot of ladies with pcos have this into the 13 marks!!

I really dont think it matters when u do the test as my gyno advised it be fine on cd2!
xx

Beauty that's a good result I bet you're happy with that!

Yeah i am happy but still have pcos and periods are so long considering the gyno said its mild which i cant seem to work out!!

I have no other symtons (bit over weight but not much) no facial hair no spots etc just long periods!! :(
It just makes ttc that sooooooooooooo much harder!!

Hoping to start some medication in next week or so!!
xx

Its a bit of a puzzle really all this ttc, i never expected it to be so hard!! xx

Its so hard! I had my bloods at cd 2 also. They were all ok thank goodness. Good luck tansey with your results. XXX

Good luck ladies hope we all get them long awaited BFP results, good looks with results Tansey xx

I just had my bloods done yesterday (CD3). I get the results on Monday. Pleased to feel that I am actually doing something now - if there is something wrong I would rather just know!
Good luck to everyone!

Keep us updated tateypot - hope they are ok!

Thats exacxtly how I felt, it as it things are moving even if a diversion is required to sort things out.

Best of luck I am sure it will be fine. XXXX

Well I got the results and the doc said they were normal. FSH was 6.4 and lh 7.5. Do they sound ok to everyone? Quite relieved - onto the day 21 tests in a couple of weeks!

Cheers for the link got my results yesterday fsh 6.0 and LH 7.3 I'm very pleased with this a i'm 36 in January. On to out IVF consultation tomorrow :-)

Sound great! Lets get those good eggs fertilised! Good luck!!! XX

Hi,

I had Cd3 tests done and my FSH is 5.4 and LH is 3, also testosterone 2.1, not sure what they all mean but the lab had typed at the top of the age. Although these results may be on the low side they are not abnormal. Am I to feel relieved or concerned? I am 37.

Sound really good to me but I am no expert. I have just had to have a anti mullerian test AMH ? Prior to starting ivf which determines your egg reserve but apparently the nhs don't offer this.

What other tests have you had in terms of scans and blood tests. I was initially told that I had PCOS but my bloods and scans came back normal however I end up having about 2/3 periods per year and I'm not ovulating.

They haven't offerered me any treatment for this other than sending me to St Mary's to help get a BFP but it still doesn't explain why I have no periods or ovulation. Maybe I'll never know.
