Introduce your elf and tell us his story

For all of us that have an elf i thought it would be fun to see what they are upto incase one of us gets stuck on things for him to do.

My elf is called claude and so far he has ....
Got stuck on the ceiling light after hanging balloons
sneaked into the car and strapped himself into the carseat
got caught after eating 6 mini rolls
and this morning was found in the fridge by the milk

it'll be lovely to hear what yours has done so far xx.

magical elfs are an american tradition. 1 of santas elfs come and stay for the month of december, they are meant to write notes on what the children do, if good or bad and report back to santa. BUT they get up to mischief along the way.

our elf is Bertie, he got upto all sorts of stuff last year and asnt arrived yet as kids were bad - he's coming on sunday. in my signiture is a link to his blog of last year and this year. there is also a list of elf mischief ideas on there as well.

Claude the elf is a teddy elf who come's to life at night and has created trouble, after writing in his journal and phoning santa if needs be he gets a bit bored and get into all kinds of trouble that the kids can't wait to see.
Come on girls get yourselves an elf and join in the fun, just make sure you keep a journal so you can look back in years to come to see what your lo's etc were upto.

I forgot to say for this year as lo's are stil little our claude as we called him is a penguine with a hat, booties and waistecoat on like an elf lol

awww thats so cute my older kids are too old for an elf but next year when archie is biger im sooo getting one

I couldn't get a elf toy, but we do have a 3 foot light up snowman so we decided that the elf would live in the snowman, we told the kids that a letter arrived from santa yesterday telling us where the elf is but we had already been putting the snowman in strange places etc leading upto the letter so the kids think it all makes sense. So far the snowman has moved around the living room, he eats crisps most nights and still has the packet in his hand the next morning and this morning we caught him on the laptop with empty drinks cans around him, i think he'd been emailing santa lol, 2nite he's planning on chilling on the sofa and watching tv x
