Just wondered if anyone has had any experience all introducing feeds back after illness. Maddi has gastroenteritis and as recommended by the doctor we have had to cut her feed - so she still has her 7oz's of water but only half the formula (so 3.5scoops).

This is to help prevent dehydration and to get the virus out of her system. So have also been giving her cooled boiled water and stopped weaning, even though we had only been going about a week and a half, doc said not to worry about solids its the fluids that are important.

sorry to ramble on, anyhow, the amount of scoops maddi has must be slowly re-introduced just wondering how if anyone has any experience doing so? if so how did you do it and how long did it take?

i was thinking, see how she goes on 4 scoops today, and then maybe tomorrow or wed start with 5 etc, if you see what i mean?

thanks guys x

Sorry hun I don't know, but if it were me I would be tempted to do what you suggest, add a scoop a day and see how she goes, if she copes with 4 but not 5 it wont hurt to stick to that for a couple of days i guess. Good luck
