Introducing myself *waves*

Hey guys, thought i'd introduce myself & say how glad i am to find other pretty ladies going through the same thing as i am.

Found out i was pregnant a few days ago but had the feeling i was before i did the test (sore boobs etc) i'm about 6 weeks.

Yet to tell my parents but other half if you wanna call him that lol knows and is being supportive. Any tips on telling parents?

hey!! I'm Rachel I'm 17 years old and a little over 12 weeks.

the only advice I have for telling the parents is do it face to face and if they like your boyfriend bring him with you!! I did it by just saying "I have something to tell you, I found out I'm pregnant" and both of my parents took it really well. I feel that it's important to do it face to face even though its scared and intimidating.

Tell them face-to-face as they will respect that a lot more, I text my mum and turned my phone off, she told my dad, I really regret telling them like that! Good luck!

Hmmm mum has a habit of over reacting and i have a feeling she'll do all she can to try and convince me i'll be a bad mother. Im going to wait a bit & make a few changes to my lifestyle first just so she has nothing to moan about lol.

Welcone and congratulations on your pregnancy. I'm Violet, I'm 17 and I'm about 9 weeks pregnant.

When I told my parents I had my FOB and my older brother there. My mum did not take it well and she still hasn't got over it, but it wasn't horrible. She didn't really say much which I guess is better than being lectured/insulted. Hopefully your mum won't say horrible things like that, but if she does its probably just cause of the shock.

Congrats hun! Im Lisa 19 n ill be 24 weeks tomorrow. I would jus tell em chances are theyll take it better then you think. For me i wasnt worried about it my parents are diff from most tho n been thru this when my sister had her first at 17. Best of luck with your parents.

Hey Congrats x I'm kayla, 19 and almost 12 weeks with my first !

As for advice, as most of these girls have said the sooner the better. But I get that you want to make changes to your lifestyle before announcing the news.
Pretty much the same thing I did.
But if you wait to long they'll probaly be more upset.
I told my mom when I was 4 weeks. She lives a bit away so we went ou dinner and I was SO nervous. I almost didn't do it!
But I knew I needed womanly support.
I told her and she almost passed out but she said we will get through this and was really great about it.
I wanted her to come with me to tell my dad (they've been divorced since I was 3) and right when me and my mom came walking up he already knew.
He was like "kayla!" In a dissappointd voice and said he needed a few days to process it.
But ya, now there both very supportive, call me everyday (I live with my fiance) and they can't wait to be grandparents !

I would definitely tell your parents sooner than later, I did just for the reason that I wanted to concentrate on my baby and felt like getting it out in the open was the first step. Hopefully it goes well for you! Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!!
