Introducing myself!

Hiya, I am an 18 year old single mummy to a 4 month and 2 day old little boy called Oliver. I was with his Dad for just over a year when I fell pregnant. He really didn't want me to go through with the pregnancy but I couldn't not. We split up because of it and he decided to basically ignore us. His family are really supportive and he did come to the birth and spent a lot of the summer with Ollie. However he has moved across the country to go to uni and tbh he hasn't seen him since September so I doubt there will be much contact in the future. I hate to think that Ollie will have such a let down for a father but I hope all my love will be enough as I think we are better off without him.

I hope to get to know some of you!

Oliver is a lovely name - it's one I was considering if I was having a boy.

You're absolutely right, IMO - you and Ollie will be fine because you have each other. It sounds like his father has a lot of growing up to do.
