While i have the time to write my story i figured i would.. Ryder was born June 20th of 2014 at 12:49 PM after being induced at 39+2.

I was supposed to call this morning to find out what time they wanted me here and was gutted to find out that they was slam packed and have no rooms. But i live a hour away and was having strong contractions already. Once i got to the hospital i was told to wait in the waiting room while they got a room ready. A hour later at 8:30 am they finally had a room ready for me & they got me dressed into a gown & asked me those million questions they ask. After that they let my mom,my husband and my best friend back in the room. At 9:30ish they broke my water and i was 3cm dilated & 80% effaced. Well they came in at 10:30am & started me on a pitocin drip ( since i was supposed to be induced) & set it on a high drip starting at 6 :dohh: By 11 something i was wanting my epidural and finally i got it.. Well i told my nurse i was feeling pressure then but she kinda blew it off ( not her fault she didn't think i would go soo fast) well my husband decided to go to Mcdonalds and get some food.. Not even 5 mins after he left i started to feel my body push by its self.. So i called my nurse back in here and she checked me to everyone's surprise i was a 9 1/2 and 100% effaced!. & Hubby wasn't here & my dr was in a c-section. Que me freaking out! :haha: i just kept telling Ryder he can't come till his daddy got back and he was a good baby and waited untill my doctor & husband was back. It wasn't too much longer & he was out. I had a 1st degree tear that was repaired in like 5-10 mins tops while i was having skin to skin with my handsome baby boy. We are both doing good and he is breastfeeding really great!

Congratulations on you little one! It always surprises me that hospitals make women in labour wait so long to get to a room and some privacy! I'm glad your OH got there in time to see the birth!

Well I was supposed to be inducted that day anyways but when i called they had no rooms available :( but i live a hour away from the hospital anyways and was already have painful contractions every 3-4 mins aparts lasting 45-60 seconds each. SO i decided to head on in.
