I thought I'd introduce myself. I've posted once before here for advice on the possibility of a preemie. Despite meds, a pessary, and nearly 6 weeks of strict bedrest my baby girl was born at 25w5d.

I'd love any advice or words of encouragement from experienced moms or even someone going through the experience too. My full pregnancy and birth story is in my journal (link in my signature). Its long so I apologize in advance. It also has Ellie's story and updates so far. Thanks for reading. :)

I've been stalking your story and while I don't have any advice, I'm wishing you and your little girl the best! xox

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter! Ellie has a long way to go being born so early but she will grow stronger and even more perfect everyday. After a 4 month NICU stay with our 23 weeker, my advice is to take it one day at a time. Rejoice and celebrate EVERY milestone, every ounce gained, every step forward. Don't let the little steps backwards get you down because there will be days/weeks she loses a little ground but these days are usually followed with huge leaps forward. Before you know it, she will be healthy and home. Best wishes to both of you.
