Invasive Question about your life before TTC..

So just out of sheer curiosity, how many of you OH's actually ejaculated inside you before TTC?

Even though hubby and I took precautions like condoms, BCP, he almost always finished up inside...

After speaking with the newly-weds ladies at my church tonight it appears a lot of men are afraid to? And prefer to ejaculate away from the body to eliminate any chance of pregnancy?

Is this common practise? I am so naive!

He has always ejaculated inside of me, its not just you. Ive never heard of men who are scared to before either

same here, my husband never did have the mental strength to pull away, the man has one goal .. finishing and not moving!

My OH did pull out for over a year before he finally started to come inside me. In fact it bothered me a little bit. I was like I am on the pill and I have never ever missed any or been late on my "period". But he said for him it was a reassurance thing, like he would know for sure that it wouldn't happen.

Like I said now obviously we are trying to have a baby so that has changed. Before we decided to try he started to come inside me a little at first and then finally it was an everytime thing.. So yeah some men do it but he was the first one I had ever met. Normally I would tell the guy I was on the pill and he would have no problems coming inside me..

My husband always came inside me, we took precautions so I wouldnt see the harm in it....I think Id be a bit upset if he had wanted to pull out all the time!

Ah thats ok girls, the women I spoke with seemed to think it was a normal thing.

I think Id feel as though Id "served my purpose" if he didnt want to come inside... Id find it offensive...

I would find it little offensive too, i mean if you are on bcp or using condoms whats the problem?!

It was a bit offensive at first to be honest... But after he explained where it was coming from I understood. Besides he isn't my husband at this point, although he will be soon. At the time we had only been dating for about a year... so I just brushed it off as best I could, he doesn't do it now and he hasn't done it in almost 7 months..

Back in high school, when I was not the most respectable person ever, I did not allow it, but that was on my own accord.
After I turned my life around and met my hubby, we actually waited until we were married to do the deed, and we pretty much started out TTC journey on our wedding night, so we've never had a reason NOT to just finish inside. Though, I'm fairly certain that if he randomly decided he didn't want to, I'd be a bit offended.

when I was pregnant w/ #1 I made him wear condoms because I kept getting BV from it, which can cause pre-term labor.

mine used to pull out about 75% of the time (mostly just a clean up thing, sometimes I just didn't want it up there and dripping out the rest of the day, or I didn't have time to shower right after TMI sorry!), I was on BCP... now that we agreed to NTNP, he NEVER pulls out wouldn't really think it as a way to 'prevent' since its not a good form of birth control on its own, but maybe some guys feel safer pulling out?

Yea, I run a 20's-30's ladies ministry in church where we meet once every 2 weeks (with kids, jobs,marriages, ect its hard to meet every week!!) So we talk about EVERYTHING, and one of the newlyweds (a lot of women in our church would have sex till after they were married) was asking if it was common practice, as her husband had been stopping intercourse he he was about to come, and then finish the job himself or have her do it for her... To my surprise 4 other women agreed with her!!

We almost always used condoms, and yes, DH would finish inside.
Even the hand full of times we had sex without a condom, he would still finish inside.

In a past relationship my bf at the time never came inside of me. I didnt want him to because I didnt want to chance get pregnant (even though I was on the pill, I had recently had an ectopic pregnancy and it was still effecting me emotionally).
When my now husband and I started dating I was less scared of getting pregnant (it was awhile after the ectopic and i had time to heal mentally) and we just had me on the pill and he did come inside me.
After awhile I was running out of birth control and I didnt want to continue with it for certian reasons so we just started using condoms..which we hardly even used. Soon after that we just stopped using anything and we entered the NTNP category. If it happened it happened and we would be happy with it.

He always comes inside me and never anywhere else. I think some guys are so afraid of getting a girl pregnant that they dont want to risk it. Think of it in the guys perspecitve, he has no way of actually knowing if the girl is truely on BC or not.

I think that I didnt want my ex to come inside me also because I knew I didnt want to be with him forever (which is why I broke up with him) and with my now husband we connected instantly and I just knew we were meant to me (I sound so stupid, but its true we are amazing together and I cannot think of a better guy for me).



danemommy- I know what you mean about being offended! One time my hubbs used a condom because he wanted to last really long (he is on journey to pleasure me more and more in bed, which I am not complaining about at all!) and I was like what? its like wasting gold! haha. I wasnt too mad because the outcome of the night was nice, but I would still have preferred him to come inside me with out a condom.

A friend of mine who grew up in America wouldn't let her DH finish inside her, even though she was on the pill, as she didn't consider it to be safe sex? I'd never even heard of anyone doing that until she mentioned it, let alone doing it myself I never would have stopped him!

Before ttc we were only using the pull out method so no he didn't finish inside me. Before that we were using condoms and he finished inside me then, we gave up with them and moved on to pulling out lol. I was on the pill for a short while but didn't like it, can't remember if we were still using condoms by then or not.
