irregular periods. need advice!

i have had irregular periods ever since i first started (11 years old). we have been trying to concieve for 4 months now with no luck we're both taking pregnacare conception and have also started taking maca. has anyone else been in this situation and do you have any advice?

i have used opk kits but they don't seem to be showing any signs of ov at all! that's worrying in itself. i have been using the cheaper ones though and some people say they're not reliable. it's frustrating cause the rest of my family are very fertile!

Have you looked into Agnus Castus or Soy to help regulate ur cycle hon? I know how ur feelin , it sucks when u want a wee one and ur body wont do what u want it to do xxxx

I have looked into Agnus Castus but it said it's best for if your periods are close together whereas mine are abit of both but mostly far apart! If you know of someone who has taken Agnus Castus and found it to be beneficial, I would be so greatful to hear about it!

hiya hun,

i too had very irregular cycles. they would last anywhere from 40 to 108 days once.

it took us 16 months to concieve, but after 12 months i relaxed a bit and started thinking oh well.

the month i did conceive i did my BBT (basal body temp) and also im pretty sure we conceived on the night i used pre-seed. i think my environment was crappy and needed some extra lub! (sorry TMI)

so maybe start charting your temps and look into pre seed

i wish you the best of luck, it is soo frustrating especially when your not like clockwork, it makes it difficult to know when you ovulate.

How irregular are you?. i was just diagnosed with PCOS after having irregular AF, my last AF was March, and before that was jan. i did myself try angus castus, and it didnt work for me. now i am seeing a FS and going through testing then they will start treatment for me!

the earliest was 21 days and the longest was 48 days! i came off the pill february which didn't help either!
