Irritated with people....

I am so sick of people who aren't and have never been pregnant acting like they know more than I do about my own pregnancy. I just had my 20 week ultrasound yesterday and found out we are team ! But even since finding out, I have had people tell me it must be a boy because of how low I am carrying. We also found out that she is sitting super low in my pelvis, with her head down, so that could be why she is sitting so low. Im sorry, but I saw for myself that our baby is a girl, and my belly isnt even that big as it is, so how can they tell? Ugh I am so sick of people acting like they know more than I do about my baby! And to top it off, my mom is upset about the name we chose for our daughter. We chose to name her Jaime Jane, after my boyfriends sister that passed away when she was little and also after his grandma who recently passed away as well. He is stubborn about wanting to name her Jaime, and honestly, I cant think of anything better, and I like that she will have a name that means something. Is it bad of me to be so frustrated with people? I mean this is my daughter, not theirs!

Yeah I hear you girl! But honestly dont let what anybody has to say get to you cuz what they say doesnt matter you know at the end of the day your daughter better than anyone you are carrying her.. Theres always guna be ppl who like to give unwanted advice and what not. And as for her name dont let anybody tell you anything, thats your daughter and no ones opinion matters except for you n her father. I can relate its easy to get frustrated but try not to let it bug you too much hun!

I hated that! We were Team But people said girl cause I carried high most of the time.. It's a load of rubbish! I told people the names we picked out (even though we didn't use it) but everyone was so mean! it made me cry! Haha eventually I gt the balls to tell people to piss off lol!

Thanks ladies! I am just so fed up with people trying to tell me what to do and whats best for my daughter. It gets to be so frustrating. Hopefully they will learn soon that I dont really care what they think because she is my daughter and not theirs!

Its not even like you're just guessing girl. You were told so by a professional, and they're arguing with that? Sound so stupid!
I think a meaningful name is much more special. And its a lovely name. Do you think you'd call her JJ?

it is really stupid! We might call her JJ. Alot of my boyfriends friends call him that tho because his name is Jonathan James. lol. So I'm not sure. I really like that she will have a meaningful name and I know how much it means to him to name her Jaime. He told me he doesnt care what my mom thinks, we are naming her Jaime lol.

I don't think either of you should care what she thinks. Personally, unless its really hideous/stupid, I don't think people should ever tell someone they don't like the names they're going to use. Its your baby girl, no one else's. She's going to have to put up and shut up.
