Hi all...just wondering if anyone is on any type of diet before ttc??

Any types off food you are eating to help concieve??

:flower::flower::flower::flower:

I'm losing a bit of weight before we TTC in December, as I've put a bit on in the last six months and could do with shifting it. Mainly though, my knockers are so fricking big and annoying at the moment, I dread to think what they'd be like when I have a baby :nope: They cause me quite a lot of pain in my neck and upper back (and yes I am wearing the right size bra! 28 back size, which is still a bit big ) so if I get them a bit smaller before getting up the duff, then I'm hopeful they won't get too enormous!

Im exactly the same....massive boobs...when i lose a stone they go down quite abit...if i dont lose the weight my boobs will be down by me knees i can see it :winkwink:

im on the herbalife diet at the moment but eating alot of fruit and veg with it. xxx:flower:

I'm starting my running again from tomorrow. Generally trying to cut back on things likE bread, pasta etc as they just make me bloated, but not cutting out altogether. Trying to be good about snacks too!

Well, I make sure to eat lots of fruit and veggies, as well as whole grains and low-fat meats (boneless skinless chicken, etc) - I've been doing this since dH and I were married and I surely don't intend to change now :)
Since this week when dH and I started seriously talking about trying in a couple months, I've been trying to walk every day - this morning we ended up going for a hike!

I love snacking... It is my downfall. I try to keep fresh fruit available to myself instead of other things - so far so good! :)

I'm trying to cut down on bread and eat more fruit and veg. We've got a dog so I've been going for slightly longer walks with him to increase my exercise a bit.

Snacking is my downfall too Starlithome, especially in the evenings. I can be really good all day and then i get home feeling really peckish and the snacking begins.

This was my plan when I was waiting to conceive, I really wanted to lose weight. I lost a stone and was pleased with myself then realised I was already pregnant through the 6 weeks I lost it in LMAO!!!

LOL happigail! I bet you didn't mind though!

Snacking seems to be a common problem :dohh: I've found it much easier not to snack on bad things if I'm very organised, packing lunch and healthy snacks to take to work (so fruit and stuff like sticks of carrot, cucumber, pepper etc.). If I've got enough to eat I find I don't tend to think about going to buy a bag of crisps or a Twix.

I am!! Although I find it so hard as weight only comes off half a pound at a time! Going to focus on SW and 30 mins at least of exercise a day to try and shift it. Want to lose 1.1/2 stone before ttc- and hopefully more whilst ttc!!! In a way want to do it do bump shows earlier!!!!! Anyone else feel the same?!!

im the same... im in australia so measuring my weight in kilos.. wanna lose 20 kilos b4 ttc again after dh and i have been ttc for well over a year and had 2 mc...
cant wait to try again though lol... im tking heaps of supplemnts like a multi vit for woman, vitex (to normalise my monthly cycle which had been absent for 3 months following d&c in may. :( )
im also taking baby aspirin (its supposed to help wiv the lining of the uterus for implantation) as ive had problems conceiving in the past i figured this might help?
im eating really really healthy, lots of fruits and vegies... ive turned into a vegetarian, just having seafood and dairy lol and i been excercising an hour or more every day and doing several series of yoga poses throughout the day to reduce stress levels and tone up a bit and i feel fantastic :D

wishing you all the very best when you finally TTC xxx

haha!! thats brill.........im loving the sound of that..

all im doing is eating really well....lots of dark green veggies....water coming out of my ears and im on herbalife for the next few weeks before we ttc in october :happydance:

I'm working on lots of weight loss before we TTC again, and I'm also going to put DH and myself on a fertility friendly diet. It worked last time I think so I hope it'll work again!

Good luck when you do start TTC!

I am trying to eat healthy. Not so easy at times but I'm trying. Snacking is my downfall too. I have found that plain Cheerios helps. It's good for you without the guilt. I've also started taking prenatal vits and hubby is taking daily vit/mineral shakes full of stuff that is good for his swimmers. :winkwink: I also have to lose weight and get fit for a completely other unrelated reason but that's another post for another time. Meanwhile, DH and I are also trying to cut processed foods out of our diet and stick with pure whole foods and actually start doing proper cooking more. We're also doing 3 mile walks/marches 2-3 times a week. I'd like to do more than that but unfortunately right now my available free time is pretty slim as I'm kept fairly busy these days. But hopefully maybe doing some standard exercises each day will help.

As for foods to help conception, I dunno. I will have to search the web for info about that. G'night one and all. :flower:

Hey! I've added this to my list of things to do while on the WTT. Have no idea what kinda diet I'm going to do though...

I am starting the Cambridge Diet this week. Should lose about 3.5lbs a week, so by the time my coil is removed (sorry TMI) I should be down at least a couple of stone. CANT WAIT! A x

I'm not doing a 'diet' as such, just making sure I'm eating lots of fruit and veg, drinking lots of water, and keeping an eye on portion sizes. Whatever you do it has to be sustainable in the long term, or at least have a long-term plan, rather than being a short term fix.

After my hols I'm planning to get myself in shape, lose the rest of my baby weight (no excuse as now have a toddler!) and get myself fit and ready to TCC next year. Need motivation to get myself started so hoping to find that here from you lovely ladies :D

I'm not so much dieting but trying to eat healthily and like others trying to cut out the snacking or at least swapping the biscuits for bananas. Its always the same i do great for 2 weeks hen think i deserve a treat! I am going to be hopeless when pg if cravings kick in - i have no will power!
I too have large bazookas and am nervous incase they increase in size a lot - i have never liked them and have always got a bit upset over their size so not.

But all in all i am trying to eat fruit, walk more and taking vitamin C drinks and B6 supplements ready for December.

MrsPJ your cat is so cute! I love cats but DH won't let me have one until we've got a house :nope:

I'm a bit worried about the bra situation and the large knockers. I mean you're supposed to wear non-wired bras, but I've never seen any in my current size, 28HH (and yes I've looked  ) and even if I could find the right size, how AWFUL are they going to look??!

Hi girls,

I Love cats too, we had to have ours put down 5 weeks ago :( we are going on holiday next week, then after we come back we are having a home inspection, then hope to get another furry friend early Oct-Worth coming back off holiday for!!

I am trying to loose weight, to ttc and for my wedding next May :) Not following any diet, just my own!! Lots of fruit, veg, meat fish etc, trying to stay between 1200-1500 ish cal`s a day!! Would like to loose 2 stone, to fit into the dress I want, but we will see!

My boobs are big too 36e ( and that don`t always fit perfect, so may need to be re measured!) one of my friends is pregnant we are going out at the weekend non-wired bra shopping for her, amongest other things, will keep my eye out beccad and report back!!!

Pennycrayon-whats herballife? sorry to be nosy!

Kimberly, snacks are my downfall too, but I love frozen grapes in the evening, which watching dvd`s. That and microwaved pop corn :)

Take care everyone, keep plodding away with the health diets :)
