I really love the name Atticus- it just popped into my head today and I really like it. I know it's early days to be thinking about names but I can't help it :haha:

My mum liked a lot of unusual names but decided against them as she worried about what people would say/whether we'd get teased. But she says she does regret that now (although she always wanted to call me Eleanor tee hee). So I feel like we should just go for it?

What do you ladies think?
Also, any ideas on shortened forms of Atticus? I can only think of Atti.

hiya me and oh have picked an unusual name - we did wonder about peoples reactions but at end of day its ytour baby and if you like a name you should go for it! :)

I don't think Atticus is that 'out there' (isn't it a biblical name?) and I also like the shortened version, Atti.

Some of the names people put forward, you can tell they have just tried to make up a name that hasnt been used before and it ends up looking and sounding ridiculous. That's when it gets a bit cruel!
