is he a hungry baby?

zacoiya is 10 weeks today last night at his last feed of the night he scoffed 10 and a half ozs and kept em all down 6 oz of formula nd 4.5 oz of ready made carton. today he has been draining 6 oz bottles every 2 nd a half hours

is he having too much? should we try hungry baby milk??? or is he ok as he is??

See how he goes for the next few days, he could just be having a hungry day, if he carries on, ring the number on the side of the formula tin and ask advice.

My LO is almost 8 weeks old, we went onto hungry baby formula yesterday as she was taking massive feeds every 3 hours, she has SMA Gold so I rang the helpline, they were so helpful!

it could just be a growth spurt, i agree with leaving it a few days to see if he slows down x

It does seem a fair bit. Holly was taking between 7-9oz every 3hrs and they advised us to try the hungry baby milk. We started it yesterday and she seemed ok on it until tonight when she has had 3 feeds in 3hrs! Hoping its just a little spurt!!

well he had a 6 oz bottle 2 hours ago - 30 mins after drinking the lot he was screaming for more so gave me another 3 ozs that he guzzled and just now he was screaming again for more so took 4 ozs but sicked it all up so going to call helpline/HV tomorrow for advice

Yeah, give them a call and get some advice hun, it could just be a spurt or a one off, bur always best to check!!

Wriggley - did you call the helpline ? What did they suggest? Have you made any changes? Is LO still taking large regular feeds?
