Is he too young to start teething??

My lo will be 6 weeks on wednesday and for the last couple of days Ive noticed a few things that have made me think he might be teething but is he too young?

These are the things Ive noticed:

* Excess saliva and drooling with bubbles
* a little bit cranky
* Putting his fists in his mouth after he has had his feed
* wanting his milk but then crying in between
* a small white pointy bump on his gums

any ideas??

No he is not to young,my DD started teething at that age and had her first 2 teeth through by 4mths.My 8 week old started last week full on so looks like he is following in his sisters footsteps.xx

Nope not too young, and as the consultant at the hospital said to me they are never too young as some are even born with teeth. Mia started showing signs at about 4-5weeks or maybe even sooner but I didn't really believe it at first. At 8 weeks I am certain she is, as she has little teeth poking through!
