I know that there is a variation in gender guesses that is less common to get wrong than the other, My question is, my doctor said she "thinks" it's a boy :happydance:

Is it likely that she is correct? She said that the cord was also in that area but she said " I would still say I think it's a boy " .. we're "confirming" in 3 weeks at my big ultrasound.. but I'm itching to buy blue :blue:

I think doctors can only 'think' to protect themselves from mistakes and complaints etc Its more likely if they think boy they are pretty right, if they think girl there is a greater chance of being wrong. However, I think most sonographers would rather say the baby isnt showing than take a stab in the dark, so you can rest assured its very likely to be a little boy! Congratulations hun xxx
