for any person, born or unborn, to have hiccups at least 3 times a day?

I swear my baby has hiccups every single day between 2-3 sometimes even 4 times a day, usually when ive eaten sometimes even after ive had a brew, sometimes for no reason..

is this even normal? does it mean anything? will he be like this when hes born?

Totally normal. My little one had them all the time. When she was a newborn she had them a lot too, but they eased off gradually.

I've heard theories that hiccups in the womb help strengthen the muscles for breathing when they are born.

Babies get hiccups when practicing their breathing :)
So yes very normal!! Don't worry.
My baby has a routine of usually having a set in the morning before breakfast and a few in the day randomly and then one set at night after my dinner x

My first daughter had them so much when I was pregnant, and at LEAST twice a day in third tri. She spent most of her first day in the world hiccuping too, making everyone on the ward laugh. Lol. It's pretty normal xxx

Yep my son was also a big hicupp'er especially at 3am in the morning! He also continued when he was born but gradually got less as he got older.
