Is it my imagination....?

Went to the fertility clinic yesterday for my baseline scan before starting IUI. Was expecting to start Clomid but was given Menopur injections instead and had the first injection there at the clinic. In the car home (1hr 15 mins journey) I came over really, really tired. My husband wanted to treat me to lunch but I was so tired I had to come straight home and crawl into bed (not like me to pass up a good lunch I slept and slept until everyone in the village decided to cut their hedges and lawns all at once

Anyone else on Menopur and anyone else had this tiredness. Seems a bit early to be getting a side effect or is it my imagination?

Also, I've had a headache for days but I think this is because I got so stressed out waiting for AF to arrive (4 days late) and I dared to hope ...... you know the saga girls

i had my scan last week and they told me im doing iui with clomid and not using menopur, to be honest i dont know what the difference is. what are ur cycles like? does oh have poor sperm? xx

Hi

I had IUI with Gonal so not sure what the side effects of Menopur are. If it works in the same was as Gonal it shouldn't have that kind of side effect at all. Maybe you've just picked up a virus or something and the stress of everything is catching up with you?

Cycles aren't usually too bad but I do have endometriosis and DH has poor motility.
