hes all snuffley and bunged up, coughing, sneezing etc
and as soon as i put him down in his chair for food he starts screaming and trying to throw himself out of it and just doesnt want a spoon anywhere near him.
hes always been perfect before, has porridge and two jars everyday amd laps it up so im thinking its related
but im thinking he must be starving as hes having bottles as if he was still eating,
does this sound about right?

Don't know about babies but I definately lose my appetite when I have a cold. Trying to chew and breath through the mouth is exhausting (and probably a bit scary if you don't know what is happening, you could feel like you are drowning with a mouth full of food when you need to breath) so even though I know I should eat I never really fancy it.

Have you tried him on finger foods, may be on your lap rather than in a chair, so he can take small bits at his own pace?

I'm sure it won't matter if he skips meals just for a few days while he has a cold though.
