I have a nutrition wheel guide for eating right in pregnancy from my hospital, there's a picture of shrimp in the protein portion.. so I'd hope it's safe because they're encouraging it haha!
My doctor recommends eating healthy and moderately of seafood. Just keep the high mercury items to a minimum. I eat shrimp and salmon at least 2 times a month and always have, with all of mine, and I'm expecting #7 in Feb.
