I breast feed during the day with the odd bottle of aptamil easy digest if i go out (not confident to bf in public!!!) Healways has the last 2 feeds of the night as formula feeds e.g. at 8 o clock and 11 o clock. my baby is 3 months and previosly had been sleeping from 11.00 - 5.30 he has now gone back to sleeping 11.30 - 3.30 - 6.30 over the last couple of weeks and wasnt sure if this was because he was hungry as he seems to reall gulp his mdddle of the night bottle down. I was wondering if hungry baby milk might help but that would mean he was having breast milk, aptaml easy digest and hungry baby milk. is this ok or would it confuse his tummy??

It would definitely confuse his tummy. Why do you give him easy digest? He would probably be better on just normal aptamil, that might be why he gulps it down because they digest it faster.

hes on easy digest as up until 3/4 weeks ago he had trouble pooing but has sorted itself out now! might give the hungry baby a miss then! Dont want to confuse him

It can make them pretty poorly if you give them more than one type :( I would keep him on the easy digest, or if you feel its needed swap him over to just normal as that might fill him up for longer. Good luck :)

You can stick with the breast milk and one formula, and even mix them together if you wish.(I mean mix breast milk and one formula)

He might be better left on easy digest if he is now pooing ok. If you have found a formula he is ok on I would leave him on it. The extra feeds are probably due to a growth spurt...

We are on aptamil easy digest too, and she goes 4 hours between feeds, have never found that it doesnt keep her full
