Is it possible?

A friend of mine thinks she's had a miscarriage, she said she took a pregnancy test which came up negative, and she got her period a few days later, when she came off she tested again and it was positive, but then she started bleeding again the day after, and has been bleeding for 3 weeks now she says. she said she didnt have any tissue like stuff or any pain, but she tested again and now its negative, now her boyfriend has broken up with her because he thinks shes lying, and i was just wondering if anyone here could possibly clarify?..

It sounds like she had a chemical pregnancy, i had the same. I got a positive preggo test and even got it confirmed at the doctors then i started bleeding and went for scan and there wasnt nothing there. A hcg blood confirmed i had a chemical

Same here.

I had a faint positive pg test for 2 days running, the 3rd day I got a neg test. I went to the hospital who took bloods and confirmed I was v early pg but was also going to miscarry. I did, exactly a week to the day I found out. (about 4 days late)

The thing is, many women experience 'chemical pregnancies' but would never had known about it if she hadnt tested early, and she would just think it was a late period.

I didnt pass any tissue or had any pain.
